Currency Consideration in the Euro Debate

There is a school of thought that Ireland should abandon the Euro and revert to the Punt.

Irelands economic lifeblood is driven by Foreign Direct Investment, FDI.

One of the crucial influences in locating operations in Ireland is a single currency in a single market. There are not currency exchange issues.A move away from the single currency Euro will make Ireland much less attractive for inward investment
