Saturday lunch can be a bit of a challenge, parking, poor service/food etc etc.

A recent lunch visit to the Tavern in Murrisk delivered near perfection.

Ample parking, greeted by friendly staff, efficient, but not in your face service, mixed with a bit of banter. Food ?, impressive menu, appeaing list of daily specials. Chowder, Cod and Chips with that X Factor.

The Atlantic Fibre Optic Cable and Irish Dark Fibre Network by PiPER C onsortium, have recently announced plans to deliver high-capacity from Belmullet for local and wider connection. The schedule is to be operational in 2013.

We know someone, or may have done it ourselves, accidentially drop the phone in water or some other liquid. So often the consequence is a replacement phone.

However there is a possible recovery option

Shake excess from the phone

Pat dry with kitchen towel

Place in tubberware dish or sealable sandwich bag.

Fill the dish/sandwich bag with rice.

Leave in a dry warm place for a few days.
